Data controller

Globe Filter AS, org. no. 938 494 401, Fjellvegen 1B, 8685 Trofors, Norway, is the data controller for personal data processed in connection with this website. Contact: post@globefilter.no, +47 401 50 004.

What data we process

The website has no user accounts and stores no form data on its own servers. The product search opens an email in your own email client โ€“ the content is only sent when you choose to send it. When you contact us by email or phone, we process the information you provide (name, company, contact details and the content of your enquiry) in order to respond to and follow up on the enquiry.

Purpose and legal basis

The data is used to answer enquiries, prepare quotations and carry out deliveries. The legal basis is GDPR Article 6(1)(b) (necessary for a contract or pre-contractual steps) and Article 6(1)(f) (legitimate interest in answering enquiries and running the business).

Cookies

The website sets no cookies and uses no tracking or analytics tools. The enquiry list in the product search is stored only locally in your own browser, so it is not lost if you reload the page. It is not sent to us until you send the email yourself.

Third parties

The website is hosted on Netlify, which logs technical data (such as IP address) in its server logs for operational and security purposes. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your IP address is transferred to Google when the page loads. We do not share your data with others for marketing purposes.

Retention

Enquiries and quotation correspondence are kept for as long as necessary for the purpose, and thereafter in accordance with statutory bookkeeping and documentation requirements.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify and erase your personal data, and the right to object to and request restriction of the processing. Contact us at post@globefilter.no to exercise your rights. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, such as the Norwegian Data Protection Authority, Datatilsynet (datatilsynet.no).
